We’re excited to be exhibiting our solutions for safer streets at the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police 109th Education and Training Conference. Scheduled for July 24-27 at the Kalahari Resort and Convention Center, the event draws police from across the state as they network, learn, and explore new ways to protect their roads.
Less Police Presence, More Safety
Creating safer roads isn’t simple. And it usually takes more manpower than you have available. But what if there was a way to increase safety while decreasing police presence? At Traffic Logix, our goal is to help police departments like yours to reduce speeding, injuries, and fatalities, all with less legwork and less physical presence. Our solutions are used by thousands of police departments to protect their streets and enhance safety.
Safer Streets with the Solution of Your Choice
Unlike many other traffic calming manufacturers, we don’t try to push one specific solution as the best one for every road. We offer a full array of options so you can decide what makes the most sense for your streets and your unique safety challenges.
Radar Speed Signs
Our speed display signs, also called radar signs or your speed signs, show drivers their speed as they pass. They are generally mounted along with speed limit signs. The simple reminder to follow speed limits and reduce speeding is almost always enough to slow speeders and improve safety. Our signs also offer options like flashing warning strobes, dynamic colored text and digits, and even custom messaging and emojis. They can be pole or trailer mounted and can be used with AC, battery, or solar power. The choice is yours.
Speed Awareness Cameras
Our speed awareness cameras are another option that’s growing in popularity with many police departments. Unlike punitive speed cameras, the Guardian speed cameras offer the option to slow speeders down with a simple warning system. The cameras capture images of speeders and who receive warning letters with their infraction details. You can even include the amount the penalty would have been if it were officer witnessed as further deterrent. Drivers realize they’re being watched and slow down, without the need for a punitive system. The cameras can be used on their own or with speed display signs. They’re a great way to combine the benefits of camera technology with remote enforcement capability to limit police deployment and keep drivers honest on the road.
Speed Tracking and Data Collection
We also offer a discreet data collection device that gives you detailed speed data to help you make informed decisions about where further intervention is needed. All our signs and cameras also offer the ability to gather stats and see detailed statistics and reports remotely. You can even choose to share that data online with locals so that they see local speed data and how many violations have been tracked.
