Changing Driver Behavior with SafePace Evolution

The Challenge
They were seeking a solution that would slow drivers down and change dangerous driving behavior. They also wanted access to speed data and reports to assess effectiveness. It was important to the Hanover PD to work with a company that would support their products and be there to help solve any technical issues or challenges.
The Solution
The lightweight speed display sign offers full size MUTCD approved 15” digits. The sign flashes a speed activated “Slow Down” message to speeding drivers. The Evolution 15 SD can operate on battery, solar, or AC power and can be used at multiple locations with a universal mounting bracket.
The Benefits
The Hanover PD particularly liked the Cloud and its ability to collect and store data that they can track throughout the year. They use the Cloud to generate reports that they can use to analyze and compare speed data.
“The cloud is amazing,” said Ms. Monkman. “It’s much more efficient than other solutions we’ve tried.” The police officers find the user-friendly interface easy to use to view data and generate reports.
A press conference was held to introduce the community to the signs and the response was overwhelmingly positive.
It’s not just the signs that Hanover is pleased with though. They were enthusiastic about the support and assistance that Traffic Logix offered throughout the process. “The company has been great to work with. They helped through the whole set up…. Tech support was also great. They answered all our questions and helped fix one of our signs when it went down.”
