SPEAKER BIOS
Mark Coupland
Mark is a retired police officer with extensive experience in traffic safety and accident prevention. Mr. Coupland served on the Metropolitan Police in London, UK for 14 years. He has also worked as a Senior Accident Investigator and Senior Vehicle Examiner for City and Guilds in London, UK. For the past 12 years, he has continued his passion for improving road safety in his position at Traffic Logix, a company that manufactures and sells solutions to improve safety on local streets.
Heather Barrett
Heather is an inside sales manager at Traffic Logix who specializes in HOA program development and relations. She has worked with over 500 private communities to pinpoint issues on their roads and help them find the solutions to solve them. Ms. Barrett has a bachelor’s degree from Concordia/McGill in Montreal, QC.
Ari Newman
Ari joined the CIS division in December 2019 and has since helped over 500 communities achieve safer roads and is now focused on growing traffic safety programs across the West Coast. Ari holds a Bachelors degree from the Interdisciplinary College (IDC) in Herzilya and has Previously worked at a venture capital fund in Israel and worked with companies in the smart city, vision and traffic technology industries. Currently Ari is the Regional Sales Manager for TL (CIS) responsible for the West Coast in the USA and Canada.
